Program Director (flexible location, travel to Texas required)

The El Paso Independent School District (EPISD) has received grant funding from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to participate in a Transformation Zone Program.   As part of Transformation Zone (T Zone) efforts, The El Paso Independent School District is partnering with School Empowerment Network to launch a number of new, small learning communities on a historically struggling EPISD campus in the Fall of 2019.  In the first year of implementation (SY 18-19), the Program Director will lead the training and development of a small cohort (up to 4 candidates) of T Zone fellows who will be the first to design and launch small learning communities that will launch in Fall 2019 and grow one grade at a time until they reach full capacity in Fall 2022.

The Program Director (PD) designs and delivers coursework and coaching over the course of one school year to prepare T Zone fellows to effectively launch and grow a small learning community in Fall 2019. This coursework and coaching focuses on the development of personal leadership, instructional leadership, and cultural leadership competencies. During the course of the 18-19 SY, the PD also assists in recruitment and selection of the second cohort of T Zone fellows that will participate in the LDI over the course of the 19-20 SY.

Director of Program Operations (New york city)

SEN launched the Charter Leader Fellowship (CLF) to identify and activate NYC’s next cohort of visionary charter school entrepreneurs. Leveraging our team’s decades as successful school founders, principals, coaches, and district leaders, we recruit emerging leaders with the talent and mindsets to launch great new charter schools, and guide them through the intricate processes of planning, state authorization, and launch. The Director of Program Operations will play an integral role in ensuring the successful opening of fellows’ schools in NYC.  This will be accomplished by working in close collaboration with the Senior of Director of Operations to comprehensively coach charter fellows and lead them through operational sessions relevant to the three phases of the Charter Leader Fellowship. To learn more about our NYC Charter Leader Fellowship visit: https://www.nyccharterfellowship.org/

In addition to supporting CLF,  the Director of Program Operations will support the coordination of SEN’s School Quality Review (SQR) services, which provides school systems with a clear, rigorous, and rubric-based picture of schools’ academic and operational health.
